Why Belong to a Coin Club?

Many beginning collector seem to feel that they do not need to join a club until they are more advanced. Nothing could be more wrong, in fact, the beginner, have more to gain from association with other collectors.


There are advantages to in belonging to a local club. Programs and exhibits provide facts and practical knowledge about different areas of numismatics. Members also learn ways to assemble and protect their collections.


Current events in numismatics are usually discussed.


Most clubs host auctions and trading sessions, which enables members to purchase items and dispose of duplicates.


Participation in the club activities provides a way of becoming acquainted with other collectors. Most clubs encourage members to make an exhibit or give presentations about their collection. Collectors willing to spend time on participating in club activities will find reward by gaining knowledge and building comrade with the club.

The Wichita Coin Clubs meets at the Senior Center at 200 S. Walnut, Wichita KS. It is located off Seneca between Maple and Douglas. (Parking in the rear on the building)

Meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of the month and starts at 7:00 pm
